learning process

hello my name is Kristin. I am a Community Health Worker in New York State. I currently have a patient who I am helping through this process and I want to learn as much as I can so I can meet him on his level. Welcome to the board Kristin. I'm not sure how to help you, since you don't really ask any questions. Has your patient already had the surgery, thinking about it, going through the process? What types of issues is he discussing with you? People here will be happy to share, just let us know what you're looking for.

I'll be happy to help any way I can! I'm just starting the process of completing all my requirements needed before surgery is scheduled but I have read ALOT! The support groups are wonderful ways for information from different experiences! Nothing is the same for each person but you get an idea of what you could possibly expect and learn what helped others for yourself to try if it's okayed by the doctor. Ask any questions, I'm sure there are wonderful people here that can help!
