My name is Cindy Smith and I had RNY on 03/19/2012 with a starting weight of 258 at 5'4", my current weight is 129. I had to have my gall bladder removed in September 2012 after finding out that I had gallstones. In October 2012 I started vomiting every time I tried to eat, in December 2012 I had a 3rd surgery to have a feeding tube inserted and an EGD to try to identify why I could no longer eat.
I have an outstanding Doctor and he and his partners have racked their brains trying to find out why I can no longer eat. I have met with a GI Specialist and had numerous tests, nothing to be found, no ulcers, no blockage, or scar tissue.
Currently the only foods I can keep down are saltine crackers, cheese snack sticks, and a small serving of mashed potatoes. Every day is different some days I can't even eat soup only the juice. I have had the feeding tube since December 17th, 2012.
I am looking for help, possible answers and direction. My current position is I have until September 2013 to see if this clears up on its own and if not I have to have my RNY surgery reversed. I appreciate this site and I am grateful for any help that any one can provide.
Thank you
Cindy
