New to the group. Hoping for surgery in Jan. I need to lose 40-50 lbs before and I cant afford medifast. I'm looking for a meal replacement shake that is similar and help me lose quickly.

I wanted to welcome you to the forum. I get my protein powder from injury online. I am not sure how much medifast costs and don't know if you need doctor supervision to be on a liquid diet. I would clarify with your surgeon before doing anything on your own. Good luck and don't give up.

Unjury is really good ... so are the one's from this site ... as well as Nectar. LOTS of flavors to choose from (including hot chocolates, coffee, etc.)
