Thank you for the compliments, as we all know, it is not an easy road, but with determination and a strong mindset, we can be successful. You really have to listen to your dietician, as you become more and more successful, you will find yourself "sneaking" in old food habits, as my dietician called it, "nickel and diming" yourself. Sounds simple, but a valid and strong point, do not let yourself get caught in that trap. I spent a couple of weeks doing that, then regained my mindset and knew I wanted a healthier body and spent too many years with a fat one, and was not going back there again. I do continue to keep a food diary, listing calories and protein intake, and it helps keeping me honest in my endeavors. Wishing the best for all in here on the same mission.:)

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you joined us. Your weight loss is phenominal.
When I find myself wanting something I shouldn't have, I think "I just don't want to be fat anymore" and the urge passes.

What is important is to listen to your doctor, the dietician and an exercise individual, they are all there for you. And a positive mindset is very important, as you know what life is like being overweight, and as you progress, enjoy your "new" life, for life, and never look back. There was a few weeks there recently where I thought, there I made it, felt successful, and began to slip some sugary foods back in, small amounts, but sugary none the less. Finally after hearing the dietician say at this point do NOT nickel and dime yourself, as the surgery is just a tool, not a cure all. Keep that in mind, and you will succeed. I am back on track, even going back for my doctors food store, some items are so easy to get your protein in, makes it helpful. Stay on track, and keep a food diary along with a daily diary, and it will keep you honest. I am still recording my food, it helps to see where the calories are and my protein intake, it will not always be perfect, but thats why it is important to keep it out in front of you. All suggestions, but so far, they have worked for me, enjoy the trip, the destination will be beautiful!

Yepper, the urges will be there, you just have to overcome them, not easy, but being fat isn't either. Keep those old photo's out where you can glance at them time to time, do not hide them, they too are a tool. Your mind will eventually win out, and enjoy its new body and health.
