Good Morning Everyone...I had Gastric Bypass-Stapled way back In... 1993, I think we were all quite new to this then...Didn't know any rules just sorta stumbled along..lol. I went from 300 to 125..That was 10 years ago...Since that time I became the " Master of Slider Food"...I've creeped back up to 215....I love Carbs and Sugar.....Today I am on Day 5 of the Pouch Test....IT STILL WORKS..After 20 years....I've lost 5lb.....Now to stick to the Rules...I thought it didn't work anymore ..NO MORE SLIDER FOODS ....

Like any other tool, it is as effective as the effort you put into it. I haven't done the test yet, but from everything I've read, it basically takes you through the first couple of weeks post surgery to clear your system and get you back to following the plan.

Congrats! glad your pouch still works. Since I have a band I do a modified pouch test every time I get a fill. It helps to shrink the pouch so you know when you have had enough to eat again. Still have to obey the rules though.
