I am in the process of going through a wellness program that is preparing me for bariatric surgery, more specifically the sleeve. When I met with my nutritionist she told me to have the following:
Morning: 30 g protein
Snack: 15 g protein
Lunch: 30 g protein
Snack: 15 g protein
Dinner: 30 g lean protein
I have been having protein in the range of the 120's. Is this too much protein? It is confusing, especially when they tell you to have a minimum of 60-80 g of protein. Am I supposed to stay at that range? I was never told the maximum amount and I cannot find it in any of my readings. Thank you!
