Hey Ron, I'm doing great now! I had a bit of an issue about 3 weeks post op. I got a cold, which led to me hardly drinking and eating. I had to go back to the hospital for dehydration. I was given IV fluids and vitamins. After that I kept track of everything I was consuming. My point being it's great you're keeping on top of your wife's protein, because you can easily get sick if you don't have enough. The daily water goal is really important too. Best of luck to you and your wife!Hi Tara,Thanks, she does have yogurt here we can try, But we will seek out the Greek type for better numbers. How are you feeling at 3 1/2 months out? I hope all is going good for you. Thank you, Ron.
I'm so glad she's okay now. I really hope she continues to get better.Wow how right you are about monitoring everything, spent 4 hours in the ER yesterday my wife's blood pressure dropped to the 70s, i guess it was a mixture of her blood pressure meds and dehydration, back home now but scary,
will do. thanks. By the way i am not sure i am mixing her isopsure right has alot of grit to it. Maybe not shaking enough?I'm so glad she's okay now. I really hope she continues to get better.
To reach the protein goals safely I would really recommend your wife reaches out to her surgeon and dietician. This is EXTREMELY important because so many surgeons have different things they allow or don't allow. There are things my surgeon didn't approve of for months that other surgeons had extremely early.
You're welcome. I've never had that one.will do. thanks. By the way i am not sure i am mixing her isopsure right has alot of grit to it. Maybe not shaking enough?
