Surgery date set for Dec 17th, 2012

Greetings all;

I went for an appt with my PA this morning and was quickly brought into an appt then with my Dietician.

Surgery date was set for Monday DEC 17th!! YAY!!!

Pre-op testing also scheduled for next week. Busy time. They will call the Friday before to let me know what time it will be and to be there.

Carol-What a wonderful Christman present indeed!!! Before you know it you will be done and in recovery. Please keep us posted on how you are feeling as your surgery day fast approaches.
 
Yay!! Wont be long now. Prepare for the holidays now while you still have energy. And get you house in order so it'll be easier for you to just rest and recuperate.
 
Kim-Congrats on your surgery date. I'll bet you are starting to get excited and probably a bit nervous. Make sure to keep us posted.
 
Thank you, everyone. This next week will be a whirlwind. Monday I go for anesthesia screening and then to cardiology for clearance (EKG). Tuesday it is EGD morning. Wednesday off from work and appts-yay. Thursday am I go to vascular to check for clots and then for an ultrasound of my Gallbladder to check for stonees. Then at 1:30pm it is to my surgeon's to finish filling out the paperwork with him and signing it and he will need to sign my papers for my FMLA leave of absence from work. Time off will be from 12/16/12 to 1/20/13 back to work on 1/21/13.

Moving right along and will get more nervous by the end of next week. Got to get my Christmas stuff done this weekend. Plus, get a few more things for after surgery.
