Surgery June 14th!

I am scheduled for June 14th. I have my pre-op with the surgeon on Monday! I am getting a little nervous on what I am going to feel like after the surgery and how long before I will be back on my feet moving again!

I was told to get B12 that disolves under the tongue but have not found a pharmacy that carries it!

Walmart carries the B-12 in the vitamin area. Also you can ask for a prescription for Nascobal which is a B-12 nasal spray, you spray it in one nostril once a week. That is what I take.

It is called subligual B-12 and it can be difficult to find if your not sure where to look, you should be able to find it at a quality healthfood or vitamin store and WalMart and Walgreens should also have it, or you can go online to a bariatrics food and vitamin store and you have oodles to choose from, I shop at bariatric choice but this forum also has a link to a bariatric food site. It is ok to be nervouse, I was all that and more, make sure you take in your support people, I had my three daughters and they were great. Tom

I got my b-12 at Walgreens.
