Tomorrow's the BIG day. I'm anxious, nervous, and hopeful all at the same time. There's no turning back now. I was looking for online support groups and came upon this one - looks like there are lots of different forums and from the few threads I read, everyone seems very positive and supportive. Looking forward to reading more posts.

Mary, welcome to the board. We are a diverse bunch of people and you will hear the bad with the good. You'll also note that despite some setbacks, the vast majority of the people here are very happy with the WLS journey. It is an exciting and scary time, especially at first. Some of us were lucky and had no complications, nausea or other discomforts, but if you do run into bumps, remember they will go away as your body heals and you get used to the new routines. Good luck tomorrow and come back when you can, and let us know how it went.
