I just got my letter that surgery is approved. Haven't scheduled it yet but am excited. Does anyone else have horrible sciatica or low back pain just doing simple things?

Yes I do! I have always had a bad back, but after I gained weight it got much,much worse. I can't do simple things like sweep my floor anymore without help. My back locks up to the side with severe pain. It is horrible and one of tge factors of me wanting this surgery so I can have my life back! Good luck to you, and I know we will feel much better after we get this weight off!
