Thanks .. Now I know I'm not alone. How was your surgery?

I'm 1 week post op VSG and I'm so very sick of liquid. I have so many meds to take crushed and they are NASTY!! All my protein shakes are now awful.I cant wait to eat.ugghhh... It seems like everything I'm allowed to have is sweet and I want something salty that is not broth.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm doing okay. I came home on Saturday . The pain is okay as long as I stay on top of my pain meds.im drinking drinking and more drinking ..

Tom that is fast. In my head I thought I would have at least 4 to 6 months before surgery but I guess not. Were you nervous before your surgery? How much pain did you have? Thanks so much for your support Tom it really heips me along.

My journey was soooo freaking fast.. I feel like I just started and I'm having sugery JUNE 7.... Omg that's next week!!!! It only took about 1 month from my 1st consultation... Help Help did anybody else move this fast?? How long did it take you all to get a surgery date??

Robergnm I know the feeling. It seems so fast, I just started this journey and I'm moving along so quickly. Good luck to you on next Wed. My sugery is on Thursday..

My 1st apt was on 4/27/12 , on 5/9/12 I had a nutrition class, on 5/23/ I had my Psych eval and all the per op test in between .But yesterday the surgery coordinator called and asked me when would I like surgery will June work for you??? Hi. I'm married with a 10 year old boy and i just turned 30.I'm having VSG ,I don't have a surgery date.
