  8. Best experience: got to know my grandfather when I lived with him to care for him. An AMAZING man and I loved my time with him.
  9. I've spent a lot of my life caring for others. This is the first time I am able to determine what I want to do, and now I am doing it.
  10. I love stories in any form: books, tv shows, movies.
  11. O.A.R. is my favorite current band, but Frank Sinatra is my all time favorite (singer, actor, it doesn't matter).
  12. I have written a book. It isn't published but I did it!
  13. I'm a Disney fanatic!
  14. I have a crazy addiction to chapstick (EOS specifically, but any will do in a pinch).

  17. My dad rubbed off on me so much that I now tell the corny dad jokes in my family.
  18. It is crazy how picky of an eater I have been. This whole process has opened me up to new foods and I love it!
  19. When I get really excited or happy about something, I mimic my one year old niece and wiggle because I can't contain it.
  20. Italy and Australia are the two places I want to visit most.

Great list, Miss. Thanks for sharing. What is O.A.R.? How about EOS? I don't think people realize that some of us don't understand others' abbreviations.

You're a Vampire Nerd! I'm a Batman Nerd! I used to take my allowance once every two weeks & go to the country store, where I bought the latest Batman & Superman comix. I loved Batman especially because a) he didn't kill, b) he had no superpower and c) he spent his time in his lab, inventing things. He was my hero. Of the modern Batm(e)n, I love Michael Keaton, who brought the character back to life in 1989, just when I needed him. And Keaton is an awesome person in real life, as well. But for pure charisma & a truly deep love, I go for Christian Bale in the Nolan Dark Knight trilogy. I've watched those movies more times than I can count. And I own almost every Chrstian Bale movie, and almost every Christopher Nolan movie as well. If you have a bad impression of Christian Bale, remember there are two sides to every story. I'd be happy to stand up for him any day of the week. His various good deeds across America, with sick children, foster children and victims of mass shootings are legendary. He makes the world a better place without ever calling attention to himself. And he is a faithful husband with two children he dotes on. He is the man I wish I could find. He wouldn't even have to be pretty. He just has to have that heart.

While guys like Tom Cruise (great actor!) are worth a few-hundred million bucks & give it to Scientology, Bale's net worth after 40 movies is a relatively modest $80 mil. And he gives it away.

I guess I'm not actually off topic, since you could say I just told you 20 things about what I know about Batman & the culture around him.

And bless you, Miss, for your time with the suicide hotline. You make me ashamed I don't do more to help others. Attagirl!

Thank you Diane! O.A.R. is an american rock band (although I don't consider their music rock necessarily but anyway...) that I fell in love with when I was in college back in 2001. Here is a link to a YouTube video of one of my favorite songs. Miss You All The Time

EOS is just a brand name for the type of lip balm I prefer.

I love the batman movies as well! It has been a long time since I have watched the Michael Keaton ones, so I honestly couldn't say which I like best. I really can only remember Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Christian Bale. I have wanted to go back and watch all of the Batman movies/tv shows but I just can't locate them all. My love of DC comics has just come about in the last several years because of the CW shows Arrow, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. I am really looking forward to Batwoman which starts in October. It will be interesting to see what they do with that. Not sure if it is based of a comic or not, but I still look forward to getting a glimpse of that world.

Well Miss & Shrinky, what do you think of the fact that Robert Pattison is going to be the next Batman?

Batman Hush is the big Blu-Ray deal right now. It stars Jason O'Mara as the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne. He's been a favorite actor of mine ever since I saw him guest star on The Closer (twice!). I sent him a message on Instagram about that & he replied to me. Now we send little DMs back & forth a few times a week. He is SUCH a nice man. And cute. And IRISH! I wish he'd get a really good, broad-appeal movie so everyone would know who he is. He was in Terra Nova long ago & The Man in the High Castle most recently. But he has the charisma of Cary Grant & needs a good role to show that.

Well Miss & Shrinky, what do you think of the fact that Robert Pattison is going to be the next Batman?

I'm excited to see what he and the director can do with the part. Pattinson has had some really good recent movies and I love to see him growing as an actor. This could be a great fit for him. I wasn't a huge fan of Affleck as batman so I hope this will be better! And I couldn't put a face to Jason's name but once I looked him up I knew exactly who he was! That is great that you get to have little conversations back and forth with him. I'm sure it puts a smile on your face (I know it would on mine!).

Hehe, Jay & Silent Bob... haven't thought of them in years!

Joan Jett? I'll have to share that with my mom, she was her idol!

Oh my God Bill does that make you feel as old as it makes me feel? Brenda, how old are you? Or more appropriately how old is your mom?

I was in my late twenties when Joan Jett was big. Well I guess she was bigger a few years earlier, but I really disliked her. Later I came to appreciate her. But the point is that was 40 to 45 years ago. Egad!
