5yrs post op. Im gaining weight. Im always craving sweets especially at night. I walk sometimes jog but my weight doesn't drop it just slowly goes up. My weight lost Dr. put me on these appetite control pills and they made me feel crazy so I stop taking them. Is there anyone who shares something similar to this? I need some suggestions and support.

I'm 3 years post op from a sleeve gastrectomy and I too have been gaining weight. I can't seem to fend off my cravings for pop and candy and I am a carb fanatic. I fear with the holidays I am only going to gain more weight. I have always had an addiction to food. I am a grazer. I was very diligent with my diet pre/post surgically, however I haven't been able to keep up with exercising and eating proper and I don't know how to get myself back on track. Obviously I am not the only one with this issue but the question is ho do we break the bad cycle? We all obviously did it once or even more so why is it so hard now?
