I was told to wait 3 months, and after that I was told to limit my caffeine to one cup per day. The hardest part for me was that most decaf tastes awful. I was bemoaning that fact on my Twitter feed and somebody suggested Peet's Decaf, and that ended up being pretty good, probably because it's dark roast, and the extra roasting time gives it more flavor. I've always drunk my coffee black, and I prefer dark roasts, so that's been a good substitute for me. Sometimes I'll have one regular and one decaf, or if I'm out I'll ask them to mix it half and half.
