Gastric Bypass and chronic nausea and throwing up...

Hi, I'm new to this site and wanted to find out if anyone else is having major problems after gastric bypass, i had mine in may 2003, and have had to have a hernia repair every year since...i've also had emergency surgery a couple months ago for a perforated ulcer...i'm folowing my dr.s orders but keep getting passed off from specialist to specialist and cant stop throwing up almost every time I eat...anyone else have a problem like this and if so how do u cope...i', desperate for help for this...

Hi..I am new here also and I had surgery on the 11th of Jan this year. I don't know if this would apply to someone who had surgery so long ago but here it goes anyway. I have been having issues with throwing up after the first bite of food. I was told just yesterday that as soon as I do that I have to start over with liquids,purree,soft food etc...I can do that all in one day. Things in there get irritated and it gives them the rest they need then you try all over again. Maybe it could work for you too?

Hi Jenn, I really feel bad for you, it sounds like you are having a real hard time ever since you got your WLS, I don't know what would cause all that I hope someone here can help you out, there are a lot of people on this site with a vast amount of different experiences. Good luck. Tom
