Welcome to the forum.. Congrats on your date for surgery. The 6th will be here before you know it. It's scary but, like Cheyenne said it is also a very exciting time as well. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. :D

Welcome, everybody is scared before surgery. I had the lap band and I didn't have too much pain. When you get to recovery ask for pain meds if you need them.

Excited is the better word; not scared.

It was very strange for me. On the day of surgery I was calm as could be. I knew I was making the right decision FINALLY!!

Boy, has it paid off in spades.

You will see this too in the very near future.
