I love a good deal!! My friends make jokes, but I will be the one joking when I retire at 55/60 yrs old while they work for another 10/15 years.I know! And when I bought them there was a circle deal, which is why I got them to put in my “box” so I think I paid $4 for two sets!
I also just bought some tiny forks and spoons. I'm a big biter too.I bought the ikea kids plates and bowls. I am good about measuring out my stuff and then transfer it there. I tend to take to big of bites so I found these really cute forks and spoons at home goods that I'm using and they are working well. I do meal prep and because I live alone I freeze a lot and take out on Sunday for the week.
Omg thank you for the reminder about using chopsticks! That is a great suggestion that I had forgotten about doing.I use the same salad plate. And a small bowl. if I'm home I use chop sticks. makes me eat slower. and it's fun to eat with them.

I follow a woman on pintrest who is a bariatric dietician and she showed in a short video that protein is from your finger to your thumb(about the size of a deck of cards), the length of fingers is vegetables, minus one knuckle is carbs. I bought toddler silverware and plates to use for measuring my food and to learn to take smaller bitesyeah i've heard measuring is a must - especially considering I have no idea what a proper portion is at alllllllllll haha.

Hi I'm Cindy I need help knowing how to portion/ pre prepI know meal prep sounds like so much work, especially when you're busy. But it ends up saving you time in the long run, because you have everything out at once. Imagine pulling out the scale and weighing every snack individually. THAT is work lol The 4oz containers are heaven sent lol
Hello Cindy,Hi I'm Cindy I need help knowing how to portion/ pre prep
I got mine portion plates in Walmart and I only got three. But they worked. I hate doing dishes so I have switched to paper plates. I get 8” paper plates and 16 oz bowls for husband and small 8 oz bowls and 5” paper snack plates for me. It works. Then if they are fairly clean I put them in recycle. I do weigh most of my foods.I found a set of pillow fort kids divided plates and trays on Target online. They’re $3ish for a pack of five (I think it’s five). They’re a 7” diameter plate divided in three sections. Based on the photo there are six of them in the pack.
