It happens. I think the body is just retaliating and hanging on to the weight to fight what it perceives as starvation. Just keep on track and it will soon realize what's going on and you'll drop the pounds again. Meantime, I bet you are noticing that your clothes are fitting a little looser...

    Am I Plateauing???

Barbara, I lost 27lbs pre-surgery, and have lost 27lbs post surgery (November 28th, 2012). I am not doing as well as Angie, someone has to set the bar high, but I am content with my weight loss so far. I wish I could stay away from the scale. It is disappointing to not see the numbers go down as...

    Am I Plateauing???

You are lifting weights, that builds muscles. Muscles weigh more than fat. Muscles burn more calories too. It's a good thing. You are losing inches, so you are doing something right. Keep it up!

    problem 2

Four weeks out from surgery is not a long time. He may still feel weak. He is not eating all the calories like he did before surgery to sustain his weight. Give him a little more time. His energy level should pick up a little more each day.

    found a lump

I found a lump the other day on my upper chest area on the left side. Checked the other side and found a lump there too! I ran to the mirror and raised my arms. The lumps were my ribs!!! LOL, I never felt my ribs before. Losing weight is really a journey. Have a great day all.

The bruise was caused by a nicked blood vessel. Still waiting on my lab work. Thanks for reminding me. I'm an air head as of late. I started back to work today. 1/2 days and light duty. Not too bad. Still a little sore.

    What's your favorite protein bar?

Funny you should mention this, I just tried one yesterday for the first time. BUILDER'S 20g protein bar seemed like a good one to try. Tasted o.k., texture was nice...but it sat like a lead ball in my pouch for hours. Yes, I chewed it well too. I won't be trying any more protein bars in the...

    Itching

I do not have any rash but my belly itches insanely? Why? I could understand if it was right over the incisions but it isn't. Sometimes I swear the only thing that would make it stop is to rake my nails across the area. Don't worry, I'm not going to do that. I just want to know when it will...
