Hey everybody.
I was wondering if y'all have ideas for savory, safe, & satisfying snack ideas that are either ready made from the store or easy to prepare at home. I'm not much of a sweets person.
I found Protein Trail Mix at Wal-Mart; I think it's their brand. It has roasted, salted soynuts, pepitas, chickpeas, golden raisins, sunflower kernels, and almonds. A 1/4 cup serving has 8 g protein, 80 mg sodium, 10 g fat, & 11 g carbs. I really love these.
I also eat unsalted roasted sunflower kernels and raw pepitas, both Kroger's brand.
One of my fave go to snacks is Sabra Hummus - thanks for the hummus suggestion Ryan! I haven't tested baby carrots yet but that will happen next month sometime.
So, does anyone else have healthful savory snack ideas that don't involve any or very little prep? Thanks in advance.
