Yes that's normal! Actually your tastes buds change after surgery, after surgery I drank a lot of protein shakes but after 4 weeks that got old!!! And I started on tomato soup especially the Campbell's to go cups. Those were good! Also powdered instant mashed potato were good for a while...

Yes, heartburn tried to get ahold on me but I knocked it out good with Prilosec and some OTC gavisgon
