I will have surgery on may 7th and have started pre-surgery diet.
diet
breakfast 100 calorie mixed with water
snack apple
Lunch 100 calorie mixed with water
snack half cup pineapple
dinner 3oz chicken 1 cup broccoli, 35 calorie bread, tomatoes
snack apple

exercise is 3.5 mile walk with 12 flights of stairs

here is the problem if I walk more than a mile I am starving all day. What can I do to fight the hunger and keep my energy while staying focused. I took a mile walk and was okay. Today I walked almost 4 miles and I am ready to pass out at 8pm. What to do! Advice needed and welcome please

Take heart, this will only make you stronger and test your determination. I suggest you do the best you can to fulfill your guidelines but don't obsess if you fall a little short. You want your body to start feeding off it's stored energy which is the whole purpose of the surgery and once you've had the surgery there is no more adjustment period. Walk as much as you can before, the more you do the easier your recovery will be after surgery. The best goals are those just beyond your reach. You have a lot of friends here cheering for your success.
