Represent! I would be all a glow for a very long time if I ever had the chance to meet Mark Wahlberg. It was a time when I didn't like him very much but after studying his background and then of course seeing him in the fighter with Christian Bale, his real personality started shining through. I love him.

I was thinking about buying a new set of drums .I have an electric set that I don’t hardly play because it doesn’t sound the same as an acoustic set. Been talking about that for about five years probably and never have bought it.Besides what I won recently I also saved my winnings from other trips to the casino and Vegas so yeah Ive got a lot of money.Will probably end up buying stuff for my grandkids and I always buy my wife some kind of jewelry for Christmas but I hardly buy for myself.
 
Hi Bill, do you look on craigslist for free drums that are being a given away? My son who was trying desperately to move out of a house where it was occupied by crackheads, left-handed tire kit out on the patio. I'm sure the crackhead sold it. But there are a lot of people who just don't have room for their drums or neighbors who will tolerate drumming.

Definitely do that Bill! You're working so hard to loose this weight & change your lifestyle, that's a gift to yourself and everyone around you. :) Plus, getting back into playing regularly again, that kind of hobby is invaluable to keeping you on track with your diet and happiness. Keep us posted.

yeah I’ve done that but didn’t see any also we discussed the noise problem even though the neighbors wouldn’t complain i still have reservations about getting an acoustic set .With the electric drums I can adjust the volume so there’s no problem.But who knows . My wife just told me her friend invited us to Las Vegas next month so I can win more money

Doesn't the act of drumming just make you sweaty and strong and your muscles get worked and you lose weight while you are drumming? In the drum world there's no higher drummer then Jim Keltner, who is my idol. Was there ever a drummer before him who actually used garbage can Lids as part of his kit ? But I also went to Jazz Alley to see Keith Carlock, and I swear that kid has six arms. I have never heard anyone make so many paradiddles in taradiddles in a row with such perfection, all the while keeping the rhythm of the bass drum and hi-hat.

Oh yeah I do sweat a lot and arms get tired not to mention as Ringo says I Got Blisters On My Fingers. I liked Keith Moon saw him dozens of times with The Who also Shannon Larkin from Godsmack and of course Ringo. Last year I met my favorite guitarist Jimmy Page at Guitar Center in Hollywood just looking around I was starstruck without words .Same when I met Ringo at the Playboy Mansion ( I had a girlfriend at the time who was a Playmate didn’t last long

Actually when the White Album just taken apart track by track you will discover that that is John Lennon screaming about the blisters on his finger.
