I know it is easy to get discouraged. My dr called me an hour before I was set to leave my house to tell me that my surgery had to be postponed. The pre-test found a growth near/on my lung. I had to ring out what it was and get it treated before being cleared for surgery. It added 2 mos to the...

    Update on Me

Congrats. I ran into feeling very tired a lot too. My nutritionist suggested that I add fruit - which I did and it helped but it also triggered my sugar craving. Not good it is much harder to stop the sugar once it's started But fruit for most people doesn't trigger but adds some natural sugar...

    4 weeks after surgery

Cream of wheat was good for me with added strawberry protein powder (some are concerned about carbs but in a 2 oz portion carbs is not a real concern or wasn't for me) Sugar free pudding with added protein powder was a treat Mild white fish tilapia was great too

    Struggling

My dr and dietician were not concerned about the carb part for the first few weeks after surgery. The primary goal was to stay hydrated.

Surgery is 6-23-2015!! Can anyone make sugg. on what you thought was really helpful?

Hi again. I would freeze little Popsicles of propel in ice cube trays. Small spoon was a huge help (I often pull them out still) to remind myself to eat small slow bites. You will be fine. I did wake up next day and had the "oh shit what have I done" moment but then calmly told myself "no don't...
